Deposits Overview
The Deposits product lets your customers send crypto directly to your Confirmo balance. Confirmo generates a permanent deposit account with dedicated addresses across all supported blockchains. The addresses are unique to each customer, and you can share them directly with that customer for recurring payments. Whenever the customer sends funds to one of the addresses, your balance is credited automatically.
Use Deposits when you want to receive crypto from your customers on an ongoing basis without creating a new invoice per transaction.
Deposits vs. Checkout invoices. A Checkout invoice is a one-off payment that expires. A deposit account is a permanent address that never expires.
How a Deposit Works
- You create a deposit account for a single customer. Confirmo returns one permanent address per supported blockchain.
- You share the relevant address with your customer.
- The customer sends crypto. Confirmo detects the transaction on-chain and (optionally) converts the funds to your chosen
balanceAsset. - When the deposit reaches the
DONEstate, your Confirmo balance is credited. You receive a webhook at each status change if anotifyUrlis configured.
See Deposit Lifecycle for the full state machine and Deposit Webhooks for the notification payloads.
Prerequisites
- You have completed onboarding.
- You have generated and safely stored your API keys.
- You understand how to correctly and securely ingest Confirmo webhooks.
